frag on boot

i have a 1.1 box and x3 chip

when i boot the box comes on three times finaltime has frag,
can boot with disabled, on backup i get the same problem.

i believe the solder points are good because other x3 chip works fine in box,

please help..

I'm confused by this remark... Can you explain further?

If you mean it works in another Xbox, then how does this prove your soldering's good?

mayb he has two xbox es and x3 s and he took the other chip off the pinheader and popped it in the other box. u kno.. only the pinheader is soldered to the box, so i guess he took the chip off the pinheader.

just a guess

Well if one X3 works on a 1.1 where another fails, then it could well be the chip. Contact your supplier and let them know what you've already tried..

need help. Both LEDs on chip light up and external control panel lights up blue for HD and Logo. I checked and wicked excess solder from both sides of board. Everything "looks" good but I am sure I am missing something... But what?????? Also nothing shows on my TV screen and I am using the cables which came with the XBox...
