Frag? or no bios on X3? (1.6)

Ok so i installed the X3 chip and took along time...So I am able to boot to original bios but when I try to boot to X3 bios i get frag... And 256k backup ...frag... So what am i supposed to do? Again this is on a 1.6 ver Mobo. One more thing..I am gettin both 5.5v led and 3.3v led....but one time i just turned off the xbox and randomely it turned on and started to frag...

Did you install the X3 1959 BIOS? Could you give us more info, like what are the switch settings you used for each boot attempt and what version of FlashBIOS does it say on the screen when you do get a successful boot? And make sure you use X3_1959_v16plus since you have a 1.6 Xbox.

There is literally NO CHANCE that your X3 is empty.

I suggest you carefully check the soldering on your pinheader and LPC rebuild.

When i do a quick press of power button i get frag...The front switch is all on off...I dont even get the the screen where i see Flash bios..because i get frag..when booting to x3...

Have you tried booting to each of the banks? Try to boot to the 1st 1MB combo bank, then try the 2nd 1MB combo bank. FlashBIOS 3.0.1 is somewhere on that chip.

Ok how do i boot to 1mb and 2mb banks? You got the switch settings?

yes, select the switch settings and do a quick tap of the power button. Try doing on on off off or off on off off. These will most likely have ur bios on it.
