FRAG problems

Ok...remembered it.

Flip the mobo over so that the bottom is facing up and that the cut out piece where the fan goes is on the top right. Now just assume the actual d0 point is the dividing piece and then the right side is to the right and vice versa.

Mobo should be orientated like so.

I think I found the problem!

I checked over everything else and I found this:

The red circle highlights a peice missing from the motherboard. I must have been too careless or something... can this be fixed? Or do I need a new motherboard?

Trying to upgrade to LT plus on LiteOn 83850c v1

As said, I have a LiteOn 83850c v1. Currently it is flashed with ix1.6 . I can't get the drive to show up in jungleflasher for some reason. I've tried to set the tray half open thing, the front light is blinking (I've kill the power to the drive and back on within a second as stated in the tutorial). It still wont show up. I've got the VIA card, portio64 drivers installed and everything. I flashed an identical drive to this one a few days ago with lt1.1 .... wtf am I doing wrong now?

send the lite_cfw.bin file over to the drive with dos (iprep) the drive has locked mine did the same with jungleflasher

i have a same problem something is wrong with jungleflasher i got everything setup correctly i am flashing drives on this pc for years got via card removed drivers ,ck3pro and jungleflasher just wont detect my liteons whatever i do

if the drive as locked up it wont eject or respond
if this is the case just send intro to the drive again with the drive powered down then when the dots appear on screen power the drive on.
it should now give a status 0x72 or 0x73 this can now be flashed as normal

Well, the drive must not be locked because I can still eject and close the drive.

I'll try doing that intro when powered off, and then back on once it starts... If that doesn't work, I'll try iprep. I haven't used iprep in probably 2-3 years. Has anything changed about how it works?

i have a 8 serious and i flashed it with the new LT+ try this method if u like...its for a locked drive u can still flash it this way i done it recently...i had major problems with jf trying to flash it with...

Oh ok. I will try this. If my drive is really locked though, wouldn't I not be able to eject it as midiandy said?

By the way, midiandy, I still couldn't get the drive to show up with your intro method .

if your drive is locked right u wouldnt be able to eject it!

The drive should be visible if its connected properly. Did you check all the ports in port properties?

Yes I have, plus this is probably my 30th or so time plugging in a 360 drive and modding it or upgrading it. So I know I use the same port every time (I've also tried all others).

It finally started working normally in jungleflasher. I have no idea what was holding it up but I tried again just a few days later and there it was.
