frag + red led on switch

I got a x3 for christmas and I installed it on my 1.0 box using the pin header thinking i did all the soldering correctly, but it doesn't work. I have tried resoldering the d0 point and the pin header a few times. What my box does is: quick press of power red led on front switch and frag, long press of power red led on front switch and frag, and pressing both eject and power at the same time also does red led on front switch and frag. I read that some people were having difficulties with the alt 5v pin not being insulated properly so i just desoldered it off, but it didnt work. I also used a magnifier to look at the d0 and it dosent look like I ripped the traces, everything looks fine. Also if i unplug the x3 from the pin header and push power it boots up normally and the xbox works perfectly. Is there anything I can do to make it work or where should i check my soldering to try and fix this?

Starting simple

I just bought a new XBOX, and according to your site I have

I downloaded some torrent games, and thru stealth or how you call it, the instructions I burned them, with Layer breaks, and Imgburn, but the XBOX won't play them, all I got is the XBOX logo on the screen.
What do I have to do to make this games play. The games are CALL OF DUTY, BLACK OPS, - FIFA 11, AND - Sniper Ghost Warrior.

and I cant afford to buy games.

any suggestions ?
