Frag with Xbox 1.6b

So if I understand the post correct

Frag green/red flash and no picture indicates wrong bios on mod chip. Is this for sure and it's not solder misstake?

Bios bank 1 should hold 3.01 and bank 2 3.03. This would mean that I should be able to boot with one of them correct?

Any ideas please let me know.

A FRAG usually indicates a bad install. Usually around the LPC area. If you flash an incorrect bios ie: x3 bios on a x2 you will frag as well. If you haven't flashed anything yet go back and check your install. Also look for solder splatter that could be crossing traces. If your xbox works with the chip disabled then you didn't fry anything.

Ok I will go back and check the install.

One other thing since there is no install that is completely made for 2.6ce there is a small device to be put between the MB and the yellow wire contact (on/off) etc for the X3. Does that come with the 2.6ce chip? It was not delivered with mine so I just had to skip that step.

That part is only for an X3.
