I'd say 99% of the time (at least for me) the problem is the burner. Maybe, your friend's 360 has a weaker laser and can't read games as well when the burn wasn't perfect as opposed to yours. I use the lowest quality media there is and they work fine on my BenQ once I bought a new burner.
