Frags when chips is disabled

I did install a 2.6 Ce on a 1.6b mother board
I did some mess with the soldering, breaking the D0 pad, but I resoldered over the the holes.

I did try to boot, and This happened

- DISABLED: restart 3 times and Frags, when I push the eject button, the cd plate wont go out entirely. completely black screen, no message.

- ENABLED: Got de 3.03 Flasbios and Flashed the Evox_M8_plus_1.6. It looks like it works but I didnt try to play a backup game or to install a dashboard. I did play 1 retail game.

Does someone know what is the problem in DISABLED mode,
troubleshooting guide is indicating there is a D0 problem but how to solve it.

Seeing as you've damaged the d0, this is the problem.

Why are you using Evox M8 when X2CL is a much better BIOS??

Is there a solution to get back the disabled mod, like doing something to the D0 or soldering to an alternative D0. can I just buy a new MB, should it be 1.6B, I really would like to get MS live running

You're either going to need to repair the D0, change the motherboard, or think about flashing the retail BIOS to the spare bank on your chip. You should be able to boot from this and use Xbox live.

Yes X2 5035 (v16) 512k will work fine for you.
