Im new to this so please bare with me, did some searching but couldn't find it. So I installed freestyle dash to boot on startup and the only way I could turn off the xbox is to press the power button on the console, the question is, is there any way I can make the guide button on the controller to turn off the system meaning a menu box comes up prompting me if I want to turn off the system like the default nxe? Thanx in advance

You selected disable xbox guide during the install. Check your launch.ini file.

the easy solution is press xbox guide get into nxe (if you have disabled getting back to dash, then goto media and images or video) should switch back

then after getting to nxe switch off the normal way...

Ditto. While installing DashLaunch and selecting the options, you disabled the Xbox Guide. Re-install the DashLauch patches and correct this option when prompted.

I have the same problem, glad I stumbled across this thread. I'll edit my ini file tonight.

But also, is there a setting that blocks "all" internet connections? I remember Clicking YES to block access to all LIVE servers, then something about block "aggressively". Now when I go into FSD and click and confirm the updates nothing downloads. I get the Guide Notification saying Downloads have been added to the queue but nothing comes through.
It like all connections are blocked, not just XBL.

Thanks
