freeze problem

i could use a little help. i was haveing trouble getting any programs to load off the c drive yesterday. so i tried slayers and my xbox would not read the disk. so i went out to get new cdrw and when i came back and turned the xbox on it would freeze at the rox my box screne. whats wierder still is that it keeps booting to the settings i made earlier that day no matter how many times i flash it again. is it a harddrive problem. i did install the new 300gb earlier that day. my aim is on if you get a chanch to helpl me out aim=licensedchrome. any ideas would be great

i also tried holding the white and Y A X B. no luck here. i did not set any passwords like in other posts. i was just trying to load a dashboard. also my xbox will not boot in m$ mode I get error 13. but if i but a m$ game in the box it does load it. lcd shuts off though.

i also treid to play a ms game to see if i could save it and that went fine. i shut off the xbox and was able to load the saved game too

i tried starting a game abd the pressing the back black L and R buttons to see if it would bring up the x3fconfig but it justs restarts the game. on my matrix it used to bring up the dash
