Freezing after fluber animation

I am using a xbox version 1.6b, With a Seagate 320G hard drive, the stock dvd drive, with the x3ce modchip pinheader install.

This problem started when i decided to try out the password feature with the x3 bios. After setting the password ( 4 charecter password ), and rebooting the system, the xbox will freeze up right after the i see "XECUTER ROX MY BOX" at the bottom of my screen. I have tried to boot into the back up bios unsuccesfully ( meaning the purple light comes on, on the bank switcher, but no audio/video on the screen), and when i was installing the x3 bios i was a n00b and forgot to set the banks to 1,2,3,4. I flashed banks 5,6,7,8 ( which you all know is flashbios 3.03). Any suggestions.. anyone? :X

I think the problem he has DJBOOBY is that he cannot reflash to earlier version of the X3 bios because he has no working flashbios left. Your only hope Vantley is to try holding the white button down on startup and see if by some insane piece of good fortune it will boot into config live so you can flash the backup with a working flashbios. I suspect given your description though you have set a password and hence will not be able to enter config live. The only solutions you have left is to get your chip's backup reflashed (with flashbios 3.0.3) in a non 1.6b xbox. Once you have done this you can then follow the advice given in numerous threads on how to remove the password.

try this get AID3 (auto installer deluxe 3) download burn to dvd
put in xbox reboot
get flashx3 download
open rar file put flashbios 3.0.3 in a folder called bios
then ftp flashx3 to xbox install flashx3 into E:/apps if thats were your apps are
now reboot with AID3 still in
find and pick boot to dash in AID3 options
once in dash find flashx3 app have bank setting to bank 1 flash flashbios3.0.3 to bank 1
remove AID3
reboot xbox you should have flashbios 3.0.3 on chip now
now with flashbios3.0.3 flash bank 8 with flashbio 3.0.3
then boot xbox in bank 8
now useing that flash earler x3 bios remove password switch ON ON OFF OFF OFF
reflash with x3 3294 switch ON ON OFF OFF OFF
done
now with x3 bios flash flashbios 3.0.3 to backup bank
you will need to make a folder in C:/ folder of xbox with flashbios 3.0.3 in it
then use hard drive flash in x3 bios config
done have working backup bank

I had this same problem and i was going crazy and i tried to follow the other posts but it got crazy because to many people had that same problem and there was to many people kept telling them look at oter posts instead of helpin ... this is what i did and it worked for me ...
go to one of ur empty banks doesnt matter which one it is really flash it with the latest Xecuter 2 bios ( yes i know you have a Xecuter 3 ) then after the xbox turns off turn it back on reset all ur settings in there switch back to ur x3 bank and reinstall ur x3 bios and that should fix all ur problems ....
