Freezing with DVD Drive plugged in

This is a weird one...

Without the DVD drive plugged in, it takes between 4-10 attempts to glitch

With the DVD drive plugged in, it is usually instant (1st or 2nd attempt to glitch) however, it never gets past the Xbox 360 boot animation - freezes at the end of it consistently.

Now if I take the DVD drive out, it takes longer to glitch but is very stable - it gets to the dashboard and doesn't crash.

XeLL boots and runs fine in both configurations, any ideas what it could be? My only guess is interference?

I'm going to guess some people are not going to believe this until they see it - I may have to record it!

Update: I've taken the DVD out of the console (so not touching nor close to it) but left it plugged in - still crashes so guess it isn't interference? Just cannot get it to boot to dash with the DVD drive plugged in.

What'd you make your nand image with? Someone earlier had trouble with a jtag tool image. Using multi builder seemed to fix it.

Moved the green cable as when the DVD cable was plugged in, it was pressing against it, now it boots up fine, seems like the position of the green cable makes a difference!
