Fried 1st 1mb bank?

I cannot ftp to my xbox. Ihave another thread called dasboard.... that explains this problem. So i'm d**king with the xbox and get the bright idea that I need to reflash the bios. When i made my original bios discs, they only contained the binary part of the bios file plus a dummy. On the new disc I made, I took out the v1.6 part and left all the other folders in there. I Made a Bin with craxtion added a dummy and burned it. I went to the bios uplode screen, ran it , everything went fine. Turned the xbox back on and it fragged with no eject. Finally got the disc out and got back to the 3.0.1 screen (it had been rolling in black and white). Tried to reflash over it with my original 3029 disc but it says unknown flash. Tried with 3108 still unknown flash. I downloaded 3029 into bank 2 and now am back where I started (no ftp). Is it ok to run in bank 2? Is bank 1 gone? Oh yeah my xbox is a 1.2/1.3

It is perfectly fine to run in bank 2.

Now, if you want to fix it, there are 2 things I can think of.
First thing is if you have bank 2 running 3029 then FTP into --X3CL-- and NOT your dash, (user/PW is "X3") then go into the "Admin" folder, then Bios, Banks, then "1234"
and try to just FTP the flash in there.

IF that does not work I would download the X3 1959 Bios. ( I know, it's old.)
What you need is inside the rar file, it's in the X3 Erase folder.
Erase_X3.xbe is a file that is supposed to erase settings made to the chip. (It does NOT hurt it)
Of course any personal settings you have made will be erased.

Barring these 2 things, I couldn't help at that point.

I think I fixed it. I reflashed the main rom from the c drive. Still no ftp and I'm an engineer for Christs sake!!! :-( I'm just glad I used my xbox and not the kids to attempt this stunt.
