Everything flashed fine... but I flashed with 303 I have a 2.6.... did I just cook the chip? I did it with 4 different chips... now all of them wont boot.... I tried this on 2 different boxes.. and now I have 4 dead chips.... is there a way to reset the chips? the the versions I tried were 1.0-1.5... I'm deployed to afghanistan and want to get this box up and running... thanks

PS I have a 5th chip that I havn't flashed yet... but it loads... so I know my install kits are installed right.... thanks for any help..

Thanks for responding. The only problem is it will not boot up now if either of the 4 mod chips are installed. It will boot up if I put the last chip in that I have not flashed yet. so once again I know it's not the base... it's the 4 chisp... But the boxes wont boot up unless I have un unflashed chip in or no chip. any more ideas?

Where did you buy the chip from if you bought it from bm mods they put the 3.0.3 flasher thingy on the first bank... (stupid idiots) so that means that you can't recover it withough getting a programmer or something... :) and even with the programmer you need to buy cables.. .have a pc that has the correct connections... usually 2 AA batteries exct... find out what bank ur using to... #1 or #2... if it's on one then yea... you mess up flashing it's through... if it's #2 then it should still work... (make sure your using the correct one on xbins) lol... i used a X3 on my X2.6... didn't work out that whell... :)

the only good chip I have has been flashed on bank one. It loads up saying saying it's been modded (xecuter rox my box) then it goes into the normal xbox dash. I'm used to messing with my X3 that when it comes up it has all the settings. Do I need to hold down a special button to get to the bios settings? I tried the white button but that didn't do anything. (thats the one I usually use with X3) thanks

Suggestions
1. What version of xbox do you have? If it's 1-1.5 then either FlashBIOS 3.0.1 or 3.0.3 should work. By default, the chip comes with 3.0.1 on Bank1 and 3.0.3 on Bank2.
2. On the non-working 4 chips, if you've tried both Banks already then I'm guessing that you have xbox version 1.6 or 1.6b or later. FlasBIOS 3.0.1 will only work on 1.6 and 3.0.3 will work on 1.6b and later. So do find out out what version of xbox you have.
3. Can you confirm that the only working chip you have at the moment already comes up with message "Xecuter rox my box"? If so then you might have obtained the chips second hand???
4. Sounds to me like you'll need a programmer to reflash your other 4 chips since you can't do a hot swap. Some information on the programmer. It doesn't run on batteries but instead will plug directly into your PC parallel port. You'll need to supply power to the programmer using the PC USB port. Also, you'll need to connect the chip to the external switch (Bank1, Bank2 etc) and haev it switched to "Flash Enable". Download the program FlashBIOS Manager from www.teamxecuter.com and follow Sticky tutorial on "Programming the 2.6CE Tutorial". Since you're flashing the chips using the Programmer, you might as well put 5035 on Bank1 and either 3.0.1 or 3.0.3 whichever ones work. If you experience any problems with the programmer, simply punch the error message into Google. That's how I found my mistake working with the Programmer.
5. Once step 5 is completed, put the chip back into the box and see if you can boot on Bank1 or not. Should not be a problem if you had done step 4 properly. Also check that you can boot to FlashBIOS on Bank2. This way you'll know that you have a backup BIOS.

Good luck.
