From LT2 to LT3 on a 0401 (with replacement pcb)

Hi there!!

I've been trying to flash my 0401 the new version of LT (3.0) but i cant!!!

First of all I open my dummy and then jf automatically loads and spoofs LT3 till there ok...

but when i am trying to erase or to send intro to the device i keep having status 0x80 0xd1 0x51!!

What should i do??
I have Lite on 0401 (with xecuter replacement pcb kit) and Firmware LT2 (I also updated to the latest dash)...

What exactly seems to be the problem??
(Oh also because I dont have USBpro I just use my VIA card with the IDE->SATA trick wich I found here http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=16853.0 << it really worked the first time!!!)

hi, make sure the phat radio button is highlighted and then intro the device and make sure the write protect switch is off and click the 0x8c button

wow you guys are fast!!

Well right now i cant really afford a usbpro but someday i'll sure get one!!
FlashDrive360 phat radio button is checked when i click intro but i dont see any write protection switch!!
The status i get is 0x20 and 0x80

legitmod how do i do that?? i have the replacement pcb kit not the pro (that needs soldering) the other one

There should be an WP=0 an WP=1 Switch on the unlock PCB board open the drive an you should see it.....

holly sh*t that's a switch!! hahahaha!! you are amazing guys!! thanks for the super fast support!! so now i just intro,erase,write,outro and then change the switch back?

hold on you must set the spi to 0x00 before you do any of that.

so intro first then set spi to 0x00.

then once your wrote to the drive before you outro you must set it back to 0x8c.then outro.

hmm i still cant even sent intro :S
i get status codes 0x51 and 0xd1
also if i hit lite on erase i get this error first:
Firmware target buffer is not Lite-On.
and asks me if i want to continue so i click cancel...

i dont know what's wrong :S when the pcb was empty write went smoothly and then i locked it with that 0x00 button (like the documentation said) but know i cant even send intro :S

I have read the tutorial i just posted here because of the problems with my intro

You are using a Chipset incompatible with slims. You will need to probe mpx01 to get into vendor mode now that your PCB is flashed with slim fw.
