well i cant find it!! i found mpx02 and mpx03 but nowhere mpx01 (also nothing in page 207 of jftut1.4.4)

Also in the tutorial there is nothing about probing mpx01 in a tx pcb :S

i have attached some screens of what happens!!

in 1.jpg i click the intro button
in 2.jpg you can see that status is 0x51
in 3.jpg when i close the switch from ck3 i get 0xd1
and finaly in 4.jpg i get 0x51 when i turn it back on...

My connection with my pc is:

pcb connected to ck3 pro and sata connected to the sata ports of my VIA card (i have also tried using my sata to ide chip along with my via card and get 0x20 when off and 0x80 when on)

the funny part is that you aren't listening

you've been told exactly what needs to be done, and what the problem is

1. you have a chipset incompatible for slims
2. read page 207

i'm totally listening to you guys that's why i posted here :p

what do you actually mean that i have a chipset incompatible for slims?? my chipset worked fine with LT2, i just want to upgrade to LT3
also I have read page 207 there's nothing there about probing MPX01 or anything... there is only instructions about getting the key of your drive (with SlimKey)..

Sorry for anny missunderstanting (i am not an english native speaker) but I have done everything that you guys have told me so far! and i will do whatever you say!!

As everyone was saying on this thread having a x360usb pro will cause less headaches. I had the same problem with my 0225 unlocked board after I flashed it to stock for an update.

Your chipset rarely will pick up the intro but most times wont. I currently have a ICH7 mobo and a via 6421 card and spent the whole day trying to get my drive to intro and finally just invested in a x360usb pro.

i'm genuinely sorry you were unable to scroll up 3 pages in the tutorial

page 204

Your chipset is incompatible with slims.
The reason it worked fine the first time was that the pcb was blank, which is compatible with any chipset.

yeah but like i said i have found a way to "bypass" this problem is the sata to ide chip that i used after reading that trick : http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=16853.0

In the original pcb it worked like a charm!! it went into vendor mode with no problems!!

I guess the tx pcb only works with x360usbpro...

Anywayz.. sorry for wasting your time!!
I'll see what I can do

It seems there's a solution to everything ^^ :D

I followed those steps and now i am in vendor mode :D :

1. find what port your drive is on
2. power off the drive
3. send intro/device id to that port
4. press yes
5. probe MPX01 with the ground probe
6. power on the drive

oops wrong copy paste :p
the MPX01 doesn't worked i tried 6 times

the actual steps where these:

1. find what port your drive is on
2. power off the drive
3. press the button from ck3
4. power on the drive
5. wait until you see status 0x72
6. release the button

please stop telling people that x360usbpro is a must!

Sorry you obviously are a far greater expert than all the other experienced users here. Maybe you should start your own products and advice forum, instead of asking and not listening

that's what i am telling you!! "My method" (the method i saw in another forum) is the only one that worked!!

There is always a way to avoid usb pro! that's all i am saying after almost 10 hours of research (AND I AM NOT AN EXPERT)

No it's the only one you tried.
If it works then I'm pleased that this thread can be closed as it is pointless

i tried almost everything that i could try without a usbpro!!
i tried the prob to the mpx01 point in every way, i tried to force intro and i alsto tried dosflash!!! nothign worked!! only this one worked

I didnt say that usbpro isn't easier I just say that if you can't buy it then there are alternatives!!

You can close the topic! the answer is the steps that i posted above!

With the USB Pro it takes 15 mins and thats with taking the xbox apart.....;)

Glad you got it mate!!!

Ive done loads of slims with the USB Pro and never had one mess around not one...

USB Pro and the Sputnik360 Probe are a must for slims IMHO!!!

That "method" you saw on another forum was discovered by BraveHeart43, a super mod here ;)

Also, MPX01 probing works 100% of the time
