Not sure how many of you have had this problem, but here goes... I've done several installs of the X3 for some of my co-workers (great system btw, fairly easy to do and fairly user friendly) and since we work rotating 24hr shifts, our Xbox's get moved to and from work a lot. Less than 2 weeks after doing one mod the front panel had a problem. The connectors on the panel (the one the two bundles of wires plug into) broke off... The one had it's solder come undone where all the connection touch the board, and the other one broke it's solder points. Now the other boxes haven't had any problems but I'm looking for ways to support those connectors. As it is with the wires plugged in and all those connectors are raised off the surface of the xbox and are a ways down from the front panel. This creates a nice potential to break them with just a little bit of pressure while it's in a bag or being moved to and from. I'd like some ideas on how to beef that area up or ideas for a cover over those connectors so they can't (well minimize the chance) break.
I see the Pro Switch and while that's a nice change, for the extra cost I don't see too many people changing, at least the folks around here.
Thanks in advance...
