If you have a USB to Serial converter lying around such as those old probes used for the 74 liteons you can update the nand x with them plus a little sodlering....

Well again... you could just solder it in... It wouldnt look nice and probably would be hard... Just wait for the programmer... A few days of playing on live is a good sacrifice to keep your tools and xbox working and safe... Dont rush it, this mod should be done without time pressures are there are A LOT of things that could go wrong...

I would go and practice on broken xboxes, particularly with soldering on the very tiny points, as you will have to solder to the hana chip and that pad is TINY!! Get an old rrod and find all the small points and solder some wires to them... figure out whats the best way to hold in place, how to keep heat on etc...

Practice, and your xbox wont break... Also practice reading nand off old rrods, just make sure its powered, and you can read the nand right off...
