Try again, unrar the dashlaunch rar and grab the installer folder and place on a usb stick, not on the root of your hdd. Then make sure that your freestyle folder is on the root of your hdd and that the xex inside is named default. If so use this for your launch.ini file
[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_A =
BUT_B =
BUT_X =
BUT_Y =
Default = Hdd:\Freestyle\default.xex
[Settings]
Then place this launch.ini on the root of your hdd.
Insert your usb stick and launch the default.xex inside the installer folder with xexmenu. Follow the onscreen prompts
press a to install dashlaunch
This will write the launch.xex and the ihelper.xex to the flash.
press a to update. This will update the launch.ini found on the root of the hard drive.
It will then ask you to change the settings, press a to say yes and choose the setup you want. I choose yes to all the options execpt "do you want the console to freeze on fatal errors". Press a to shutdown.
Remove the usb stick and turn on your console. If it doesnt autoboot into fsd then check the launch.ini on the root of the hdd. you will have to copy it onto a usb stick and open it in notepad. The first time i tried this it didnt update my launch.ini file properly and it only showed the settings and not quicklaunchbuttons .
