So I finally did the RGH mod to my xbox. Xell works fine. Xbox boots up fine. Even Xex shows up as the installed. What I am unable to do is to get FSD working. I tried getting the newest version and running the Default.xex ..Even after the installation is complete and it just goes to the NXE. Help anyone?

Been there done that. Used the Extracted version from here:
http://www.teamfsd.com/forums/newspage.php?news=810&sid=0debbb0a3af556ec9fb0c2c77eb3949a

Ran the default.xex in the root. Checked Remove prev installation, install Dash, install FSD and then hit the install button. Once it is done, screen goes black with all the options for default.ini
It boots and goes to NXE, so frusturating. RGH done but no region spoofing (really needed this one) or running backup games.

First u have to download xex menu iso ( google it )
download it and write it to a cd and also extract that iso to a folder u will have like C0DE9999 copy this folder to a fat32 formated usb drive and plug into xbox360
put ur cd in xboxdrive and thrugh nxe press play game
now ur in xexmenu hit the right bumper RB
u can c ur hdd1 and usb press Y u will get option to copy and paste etc..Now create a folder named Content in root of Hdd1 indise content create a folder 0000000000000000

Now copy the C0DE9999 folder from usb drive into 0000000000000000

Restart ur xbox3
u will get xexmenu in ur nxe my games menu press that once again u will get xexmenu ( now no need the cd)

now download latest freestyle dash and copy it to ur usb drive and put it into root of Hdd1 in the created FSD folder

Through NXE menu go inside fsd folder and press default.xex u will get fsd dash..

There is also a option to get this through quicklaunch button First try this..Good luck

Sorry before my typing ends got 2 replys for him..

Arun, I already have the xex menu. I can use the bumper to get to the usb and run default.xex from the FSD extracted verion from teamfsd site. I am guessing running that xex is fine. It seems to running the copy/installation operation.

What is the way to get through quicklaunch?

Wow. I am sure you are really confusing the guy. All your explanation has nothing to do with his problem and is unnecessary for a simple FSD install.

***EDIT**** you must have been posting while I was.....you never said you were trying to put this on the Internal.

NOT A GOOD IDEA!!!!!! get yourself at the very least a 20gig internal. You are just looking for problems doing that. I am sure you can find a 20gig Hard drive cheap on CL. Or if there is an installer near you he will have one for sure.
I have a stack of them sitting here. not like XB1 though.....must have had 100 20 gig drives from those installs

First. Delete anything you have to do with fsd.Especially the launch.ini file on the root.
Put the FSD installer on your HD.
Run the installer. The black screen you referred to is necessary setup for FSD/dashlaunch.
Answer each question. When it is finished it will say restart. ( Sometimes it does not say restart first time. Just answer the questions again)
Should goto FSD on the next restart.
If this is not working I would format the drive and start from scratch.
Otherwise I would goto teamfsd.com

Tried copying to MU: . Dint work. Tried changing HDD: to MU: (where my contents folder exist) dint work.

Btw, I dont get this part:
Now through xex run dash launch instaler default.xex u will asked to update press a again a for launch.in now b..Shutdown - restart

I do A, A again for launch.ini but then it asks me a hell lot of info. pinging to region free etc, Do I need to skip all that and just force the restart.?

Ok got it to work. Some really dumb thinking on my part. The installation folder was usb: when installing FSD so it reads from there. While installing too, the only option I had was usb: , it means a usb/hdd is necessary to boot FSd, no way to shift it to MU:
