RGH FSD Queries

Have certain queries/issues around FSD :-

• Where should FSD be installed ? I have it on my MU should i move it to Internal HDD ? and then delete the FSD folder from MU ?

• Whenever i add External HDD path for games and reboot console sometimes it does erases the added path on its own this is frustrating since i have to manually go each time whenever the path is removed.I did a reset skin settings and clear data too.Any fixes for it ?

• I tried downloading covers from FSD but it does nothing even tried clicking on games and press Y to refresh artwork nothing happens.The I.P shown in the console is 192.168.1.2 liveblock=true and livestrong=false is set in dashlaunch.ini

• Can you recommend a stable theme i tried Xdesk and it crashes frequently and does not even recognizes the games ? Also tried Xeon RC Final 2 it shows games with proper names but when i click on them games does not boots.

You can have FSD on MU, Internal or external

When you add you game path make sure you hit X to save it

If it isnt downloading covers then run dashlaunch again and when it says block live dns say no and covers will download again

And i would wait cause FSD will be comming out RxE which is an updated FSD but there is ETA for RxE

Thanks , I'm saving the directory location as i said it sometimes saves the location sometimes doesn't also another thing to note is it sometime shows Usb:\Games but other times SysExt\Games

When you say run dashlaunch again do you mean install dashlaunch ? Is it safe to allow ms dns ?

Freestyle dash site is down and has been for a while so the auto download of covers is down as well as far as I know. Don't know if there is an alternative for automatically downloading covers maybe someone here will know.

Normally we just run FSD indexer to download and sort covers but until Team Fsd site is back I think we have to manually add them.

Covers were downloading yesterday. Have you set your dns to auto, so it can pick up your internet connection? To stop live access, turn on the family safety feature in nxe dash so that no live access or account creation allowed, and allow all game ratings, etc.

some theme's wont download covers anymore not sure why just use the one that comes with FSD or blackened is what i use

Different versions of FSD will perform differently also. FSD Indexer doesn't exist for use with FSD2 (and is massively better for it IMHO) and you also don't need to have an account with, or connection to the team FSD website to get covers etc either. If you're using FSD 1.2 that may be the issue, as I had no end of problems getting covers, screenshots etc after a while. Remove it from your HDD, remembering all the associated folders it occupies, and get FSD2 RC1 from the apps/themes section on Xbox360iso or someone on here may have it available for download. As long as you have a net connection, you'll get all the covers you need.

I may not be the authority on this, but the answers above appear to be talking about 2 different incarnations of FSD, and they're both quite different

Thanks but some themes are really buggy and dont download covers at all,
