the fsd3 cd installer didn't delete my fsd2.2 upon installation so i deleted it from fsd3 file manager.

i changed my launchi.ini manually on my pc and ftp it to my xbox and soft reset was able to boot fsd3.

few hours later i tried to boot fsd3 and it just hangs on xbox logo screen.

only way i can boot now is remove internal hdd and boot nxe with no profile.

so i figure its my launch.ini do you think that's my problem?

but how do i gain access to my internal hdd now to sort this out?

many thanks.

can you post the details of the launch ini on here. and a screen dump of your folder structure on the hard drive. You can format a usb flash drive via the 360, create a new profile on it, then plug it into the pc, use horizon to browse the usb drive and insert xexmenu 1.1 (live) into the 0000000000000000000 folder. once you have done that, plug the usb stick back into the 360 and xex menu will appaear under games demo, launch it then you can navigate/ ftp to your 360 again.

When ever I install FSD. I always make sure dashlaunch install and configure is ticked. This always automatically sets up my launch.ini for me. Never had any trouble with the console booting to newer FSD. Even though the latest dashlaunch is installed allready.

sorted out the hdmi problem by reverting to composite lead so that's another problem for later it's probably blew my hdmi on my tv with the constant on/off of xbox.

put xex menu on cd and booted it with from nxe ok (can't boot nxe with int hdd inserted) with phat xbox hdd adapter and can gain access via ftp to my xbox dvd drive and flash memory but not the 2 usb hdd's.

what a mare.

you mean you weren't able to stick FSD on a USB stick with a copy of launch.ini on it, pointing to the USB stick install?

Wow - some people need to walk before they can run. I can't believe how many people are unable to do a simple file copy and go through hoops for something which should take 5 mins.

it is the plugin.never got it working on fsd3 yet.well once the other day but today it aint playing ball.anyone else got there's to work?fsd2.2 seemed to just work without having to set the path to the plugin in dashlaunch. but going to fsd3 settings it tells you if plugin loaded up all not.mine won't load up.checked the dashlaunch settings and the path to the plugin is still there.must be a bug.
