FT1U2 on Nand-X

Hey guy's

I'm working on a zephyr system and unfortunately I screwed up the db1f1 point so I have to install to the alternate. Is it OK if I solder a 30 AWG wire from FT1U2 to the red wire's metal seat and just cut the red wire off the connector?
