Hi,

i tried to remove the post qsb because i thought its faulty.

The contact from FT6U8 came off. If i flash the original nand back on to the jasper 16mb xbox it boots up fine.
Only the rjtag does not work.

Is there alternative point ?

Searched everywhere i could not find an alternative point

why would you think the post QSB is faulty?

what console is it? could of left it on and checked with a multimeter

and as blakey said point is above it directly, will need a scrape a tin and solder it on

Rater is built into jrunner mate.

You hook the rater cable up to your rjtag and then into your jrprogrammer v2 (if you have one ofc)

You run rater and it will help us get an idea of whats happening during boot.

If xell reloaded is flashed to nand, and all wires are ok it should boot at least once on 78 and any one of the 6 dips

Jrunner PDF will explain it all better for you

R-JTAG will not work without good POST connections.

Rater and the POST Monitor features in JRunner let you know what signals the R-JTAG is getting.

If the R-JTAG isn't getting good POST, you can't expect it to work!

Ergo, if we see your POST logs (from Rater or POST Monitor), we can find out what the issue is.

here you go.

had to replace on 10k resistor also use an alternative point for FT6U8. Tested with multimeter there is prober connection for both.

dips 7 and 8 are on. Tried one by one 1-6 ... nothing works.

ok.

i have tried each dip 3 times and it booted 3rd or 2nd time at dip 1 and 2.

same thing on 1.2v and 1.8v

not gonna touch it now. At least the jasper is working. I can live with that.

Jasper with R-Jtag sucks bad. No trouble with the Falcons so far.
Same with R-JTAG v1.1

Thank you guys.

2nd or 3rd boot is good. That may have been an unglitchable jasper using rgh2
