FTP and Movie Files

Hi guys im not sure if im putting this in the right forum but here goes. I've got some movie files on my PC and i want to FTP them to my Xbox. This isnt usually a problem but with some files the FTP program comes up with a message that says..

450: Cant access file
DELE <file name>
550: File not found

I know the movies work because i can watch them on my PC. I was wondering if maybe it was the format of the movies. This particular format was .mpg.

I am using Xecutor 2.CE and Xbox Media Center. I hope someone can help

Make sure the file names are short. They can't be too long

i 2nd catalysts suggestion keep the name short......., and it shouldn't matter what format its in unless the format is really f**ked up like a .woofuckadeedo7op745 file
