FTP connection to XBOX fails

I have two PCs and one XBOX behind a router. I am able to ping the xbox IP from the two PCs, but unable to connect using FTP.

ftp.exe 192.168.0.4

fails with "connection timeout". I have also used FlashFXP and WS_FTP programs.

I have disabled the firewall from WinXP too.

can anybody help?

i am guesing your on x3cl ? if so make a boot disc evox or w/e :) then ftp in using a dash board i have problems with x3cl ftp

Hmmm....i am a newbee. What is x3cl? default setup?

I have not changed anything in my xbox (HW + SW). So r u saying that default ftp server does not work? And do i have to run some other ftp server on xbox using "evox"? How to make this happen? any pointer on making boot disc evox?

Is this backup safe on LT?

It says

"Video partition does not match known data (could be corrupt or a new wave not seen before)
Stealth status is uncertain"

Would this backup be safe to play on my LT firmware flashed xbox on live?

I checked all other required things for the disc such as the SplitVid which is valid, just was wondering about stealth as it was the only thing that turned out yellow in the warning on ABGX360.

this always happens when its a new wave (5/6) and a new release for abgx hasnt been released yet. When a new version of abgx is released that supports all the new waves then this wont happen. as long as its SSV2 and splitvid valid then u should be cool, just with the whole stealth thing its coz abgx need to hurry up and release a new version that supports all the waves lol

yea similar question here....if abgx says all that stuff is good (SSv2, splitvid, stealth, verification succ..)does that mean im safe for LT..

AS LONG as its all GREEN at the end and IT HAS SPLITVID and SSV2 and VERIFICATION was successful Then your fine and away you go.
