Has anyone made an ftp client that runs on the 360 for direct file copy from one 360 to another? Googled it for a bit and only found windows clients and such. I miss the old days of Xbmc with a built in client.

If not, whats the easiest way to copy about 1TB of games and content from one rgh to another? Perhaps a windows client that can connect to 2 different 360s and copy from one to another?

Thanks

im trying to copy from a Slim to a 360 E. The problem is both machines hard drives that are not removeable. The Slim has a 3.5" 2TB drive internal, and the E has dual drives and would require taking either one apart to do it that way. I'd rather let an ftp run overnight, as opposed to taking things apart.

I have my pc on 24 /7 so I'd use the smb/samba server option in fsd.
just open both xbox drives in a window on your pc and drag from one xbox drive and drop in the other then leave it to it overnight. Just make sure you turn auto shutdown off.

or you could pull the drive you want to copy and just clone it, that would be alot faster then using smb or ftp, couple of hours vs couple of days, considering how much data you want to transfer.

Enabled smb server on both and they can see each other over the network. Will try copying a few things later. Thus will make future installs easier between multiple boxes.

Update...

The 2 360s wouldnt transfer directly to each, but moving files with a computer from one to another using smb netted me an average of 12-13 megs per sec speed. Good enough for me. Didnt have to worry about to occasional lock up I get when transferring a lot of files with F3. Thanks

Map a drive to the smb share from one box onto the pc and then use filezilla to ftp to second box. Transferring the files this way gives you resume support that two smb shares and windows copy does not unless you use robocopy.
