FTP from the BIOS

I don't know how to enter the FTP Bios (without a dashboard).

Can someone help me to do it ?

the x2 bios doesnt include a ftp server, you will have to use a dashboard to access your xbox via ftp.

But when i have a boot pb (with the dash)

the bios gives an FTP ???

I'm lost right now !

Your using xbmc as a dash. its that thats giving the xbox the ftp settings.

OK i'll be more specific

I have XBMC installed and FTP working well but i'm a geek and i update XBMC very often.

I have a multiboot xbe and when i want to update xbmc i jump to evox instead of XBMC

BUT .... (yes there is a but) under XBMC FTP works fine .... that is not the case with EVOX (everything is fine but i'm forced to lower my firewall in order to connect)

So i'm looking for an alternative FTP server for the XBOX (and don't want to use other Dash avalaunch for ex)

summit is not right with your evox settings then , check the ini file.

as already stated - the x2 does not come with a FTP built into the bios. They could do it, but there would not be much incentive to buy an x3 if they did.
