ftp into XBOX X3 new HDD

Hi,

Just flashed my bios through HTTP method. Uploaded the X3_3294, flashed with front panel dip-switch settings "ON-ON-OFF-OFF-OFF" It completed successfully. I inserted Auto-Installe-Deluxe 4.0, then selected Mod-Chip Click Install with XBMC.

Questions:

1. How do I automatically boot up into XBMC, and not through X3-Bios having to select boot-Dashboard option all the time?

2. I tried to ftp the Core-FTP LE, using IP: 192.168.0.2, it would not connect.
also tried using Filezilla same IP 192.168.0.2.

Could someone please point out directions to cover ftp my media to the xbox? I know I could put on DVD and copy this way but, this would be very time consuming, and as well as wasting DVD-R media. I have not tried DVD-RW, this would be short-cut from wasting DVD-R's, but I would really appreciate the FTP into it because, this is much easier, but I don't know the way to do it, thank you.

Hi again,

Ok, I just answered my question about ftp into this newly modded with X3 chip.
I kept getting connected with Filezilla. Except, It would fail to transfer my uploads into its HDD. I don't know if it is because I have my other softmodded Xbox Console on and it is on same network. I have the softmodded XBMC on, it has Network Auto-Detect enabled. Maybe this was why it would fail to transfer my files into the X3 from my PC through Filezilla?

Anyway, I closed Filezilla. Turned off softmodded Console. Ran CoreFTP Le, and then reset my X3 Console. It finally began to transfer with X3 user, X3 Password, using its generated 10.0.0.4 IP. It works!! successfully, thank GOD!

Now If I could just figure out how to boot up directly to XBMC, like I use to when I ran my Softmodded Console, I need help to figure this part, please anyone?

Ok. Thanks, Except, how do I boot up to just XBMC instead of booting to X3 Bios every time? Is there any way I could adjust my X3 Chip or is this the only way to enter XBMC, is through X3 BIOS? I would rather boot straight to XBMC? Please let me know if you know how to do this, thank you.

Ok, Cool. I have figured out how to boot-up directly to XBMC now. I set the X3 Bios Config to "Auto-Start X3 - Disabled" Now I just can not figure how to enter into X3 BIOS Menu. I can hold both of the Power & Eject when XBOX Console is shut down. It loads up FlashBios 3.0.1. I am able to Load Bios from HDD C:\Bios directory. It is Flash Options only though?

How do you load up the Hold-Trigger dashboard? I set mine up for the original dashboard but I don't know which button is the trigger?

These are just a couple of questions for now. If I find them some where posted, I will reply that I have found answers. Thank you!

Thanks for the link, it helps you learn how to boot directly to xbmc after you quick press xbox power button to on.

Anyways X3 Is the most coolest modchip I have longed for, If I want to upgrade the hard drive, all I have to do is place another compatible one into it, and X3 Bios should handle the rest.

By the way, what is the largest recemmended hard drive for XBOX? while using the Xecuter 3 mod?

I was using Seagate 400gb IDE, in my Softmodded version of XBOX, and everytime it got nearly full about 100 gb freespace, it began erase files on its own? I mean, it would begin to do this, then you could view the directories, and they would be garbage? All kinds of strange ASCII characters? The drive would still show 100 gb free, but it would begin to corrupt, and erase the listing of my data on F drive?
