FTP PC to Evolution x?????

I cant get a connection from my pc to evolution x, I cant find any forum on this either, I have to have a connection b4 I can transfer games from dvd2xbox to my xbox then to my pc, will someone please help

ip addresses for the xbox and pc
router????
straight through cable, crossover cable??
ftp client??
ect................

I got it, I had to change the ip settings in my evolution ini to match my pc ip settings, but now im trying to figure out how to get the trainners to work in evolution x

just found out elsewhere that i need the SS v2 and DMI files for the paradiso rip.... sorry guys, ignore
