ok..... this is where the problem may be...

Go to a command prompt window.

type 'ipconfig /all >c:\ip.txt' - press enter

go to your C drive and open IP.txt.

copy/paste the information here.

so you have one network card which connects to your internet.

You mentioned that you've followed the guides as stated.

In ChefElf's guide, it mentions changing the IP settings of you PC NIC. Judging by this post and your settings, we can say that hasn't happened.

If you want to be able to FTP to your Xbox, you'll have to change the settings and lose the internet for the time being.

There's plenty of PC help on the internet on how to change your IP settings. Read through them. Just remember that if you need to get back on the net, set you IP settings on the PC back to automatic and plug the internet cable back in.

Yea if you look at your ip settings on your box it says 192.168.0.3 which would be your statc ip address.

The one on your comp is 69.xx.xx.x which as we can see doesnt match.

How is your xbox hooked up to your comp. Straight from the box to the NIC card? Is it a patch cable or crossover? You may want to try changing your xbox to DHCP instead of Static. Alos make sure you are using crossover and not patch cables.

If you need to change your computers IP settings you can assign it a static ip instead of it automatically doing it.

Just to clarify - the IP addresses need to be in the same subnet, but should not "match".

Xbox IP Address: 192.168.0.3
PC IP Address: 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0

Gateways, DNS servers, etc., can be left blank since you are going point to point (probably via a crossover cable) between the xbox and the PC.

AP 2.5, Samsung & LT 1.0

Yes, another AP2.5 question. Here's the deal:

I have the updated [Kinect] Dash. I also have a Samsung drive, which I flashed with LT 1.0. Now, I've read different stories about the AP2.5 games, so I wanna try to get to the bottom of it.

#1) I hear that Samsung drives don't worry about the AP2.5 protection (aka Banning you if you play a backup online/Freezing your drive if you insert a disc)...they're not effected. True?

#2) I hear that the new ABGX 1.0.5 will stealth the AP2.5 files and everything will be fine...just like a normal pre-AP2.5 backup. Is that true?

#3) LT+ is for drives other than Samsungs, from my understanding, but I hear it will work with the Samsung. LT+ is supposed to cover the AP2.5 games. Should I flash with LT+ to be safe, or would that be a bad thing?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Re: AP 2.5, Samsung & LT 1.0

1. LT for samsungs will work if its an original samsung xbox

2. NO, abgx inserts the AP2.5 sector (if left blank, your .iso won't work)

3. There isn't LT+ for samsungs
