FTP Problems....?

Ok... I get a really weird situation when I connect to my xbox through FTP and I was wondering if it's just something I'm doing wrong.

I connect to my Xbox using CuteFTP (done the same thing through internet explorer) and it shows the folders in the window. The difference with the directory listing for my xbox is for drives C and E, instead of just being labeled the letters, they're labeled with remaining space as well (For example: Admin, C (325.89 MBytes Free), D, E (4.73 GBytes Free), F, X, Y, Z).

Also, when I go into the C or E folders I cannot go any further. I double click on a folder to browse into that folder and it just refreshes with the same directory, although the actual path keeps reflecting my trying to open folders (so if I keep trying to access the audio folder, it appears "/C (325.89 MBytes Free)/Audio/Audio/Audio/Audio/Audio/..."

Is this something that can be fixed by some tweaking of settings?

Same here, I think its a small bios bug on certain models my work around was using slayers CD and booting to it and using it to install Evox, went to bios and setup my quicklaunch to point to the Evox xbe file. Once I booted to the Evox (using quicklaunch) my FTP opened up fine using Cute FTP and I did the standard Evox install to C
1.Edit your evox.ini to reflect:
MSDashBoard = "c:\xboxdash.xbe"
2. Boot to evox using your quicklaunch
3. rename xboxdash.xbe to msxboxdash.xbe
4. rename evoxdask.xbe to xboxdash.xbe and upload that and your evox.ini to your C:

Now when you reboot your system it will comeup to Evox on C and it (a clean evox install) will have a boot to MSDashboard option should you want to mess around in the land of green slime.

Once I got the clean evox on my C I killed the slayers install I put on my system as I would much rather make my own than play games with what others have thrown together.

Now that I think of it, Slayers CD might actually open an FTP connection if you boot to it, I didnt try at all and may have saved myself some time if it does LOL.
