I am having problems connecting to my XBOX ip through Flash FXP. It keeps telling me Connection Failed, No Route Host. I have verified the crossover cable and all seems well.

I actually got it to connect to the box once and was able to see all the drives but 5 seconds later they were gone.

Can anyone help me please. :?: :?: :?:

Re: think i might have bricked my drive? did i?

what type of drive are you flashing?

i would suggest power cycling and opening and closing the drive

then reconnect

it is the new liton. it is not ejecting but could that be because i have the trace cuts?

Re: think i might have bricked my drive? did i?

also, i see from another post you are flashing a lite-on with a probe V2

this means you have made trace cuts

if you had read the jungleflasher tutorial, you would know that once you have made those cuts, your drive won't be detected unless the probe v2 is powering the flash chip

make sure you read

also, there are about 50 other topics exactly like this one

i know that but when i connect the probe to the pins it is still not detectable.

Re: think i might have bricked my drive? did i?

make sure you have the switch in read to get it detected

then when you switch to the normal position, it removes the ground connection with allows you to read the drive

i doubt that you broke your drive without accidentally pressing the lite-on erase button

Re: think i might have bricked my drive? did i?

no i am not using a liton switch. this is what happened. i successfully got the drive into mode 72 and began the reading. it got to bank to and i accidentally moved my hand and on pin on the prob disconnected from the pin on the pcb bored. jungle flasher froze and now it wont detect my liton drive anymore.

Re: think i might have bricked my drive? did i?

replace your probe, send intro and power cycle

you should get 0x72 back

if that doesn't work, repair your trace cuts
if your drive still opens and closes, you didn't kill it
if it doesn't respond (assuming your trace repairs are good), you have ruined that xbox360
