FTP to xbox

Everytime I try to FTP to xbox using FlashFXP I get
[R] Connecting to 192.168.100.10 -> IP=192.168.100.10 PORT=21
[R] Connected to 192.168.100.10
[R] Connection failed (Connection lost)
[R] Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #1

I have tried to ping to xbox and it says 100% lost.

What am I doing wrong?

What is your PC & xbox IP addresses? They should be on the same subnet.

if runing a dash set static ip something close to your pc ip if pc ip is 192.168.1.1 set xbox with 192.168.1.2 or 3

never mind I figured it out, i didn't change the config file to the ip address already assigned to my xbox.

Please help

I'm a noob. I'm trying to network my xbox with my pc. I've got a 1.4v xbox with an xecuter 2.6 lite mod chip. I'm using evox bios and evox as my dash. I went to set up my network using a linksys switch. One rj45 cable running from the ethernet card to port 4 in the switch. One running from the back of my xbox to one of the other ports. It says no link. What am I doing wrong
