I am in the middle of an FTP to my xbox to transfer evox dashboard but ran into a little problem. I connected with craxtion 4.0 and it says Networked xbox and shows all the xbox files, I then picked my xiso for the dashboard fron my computer and dragged it down into the C:folder of my xbox. It sais that the file was transferring and said that it was complete, I then looked at the xbox c:drive and it showed my files in there and when the file was transfering i saw the C: drive on the xbox X3 bios screen get smaller. I don't know where to go from here, I tried to re-boot and it still boots into the x3 bios screen, I tried to reboot to dash but that brings up thw xbox dash. Can anyone please help. I tried to load the dashboard 2 times and now I only have 0.16GB left on my C: drive.

Thanx

On the xbox, delete the Xiso that you transferred and just transfer these 2 files:

evox.ini
evoxdash.xbe

If you want the skins and trainers, you can copy those folders as well but they are not mandatory.

Question do I rename the evoxdash.xbe to default? and should I put .ini on the end of the evox file or should I leave it

Just right click and delete. You are using an FTP program yeah?

Put the files in the root directory of your C: or E: or F: or G: The choice is yours. I use C:, but some people prefer to keep all modded files away from c: and E: coz of xblive.

Use a program called FlashFXP, and you may have more luck. Much better program in my oppinion (although it is only FTP it cannot create iso's like craxtion and quix)

Yes, use flash fxp and you will be able to delete files "on the fly" from your xbox or your pc. Craxtion is a great program but use it only for thieving err.. I mean backing up your original games that you own.

Piracy is wrong and is bad too. We don't allow talk about it.
