Here's the problem.

Where are you getting this IP address from?

1. Connect your PC to Xbox via crossover cable.
2. Set your Xbox to :

SetupNetwork = Yes
StaticIP = Yes
Ip = 192.168.0.10
Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1

3. Set your PC to

IP = 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0

You should be able to FTP to your Xbox at 192.168.0.10.

how do i change pc's ip?

im a noob :roll:

btw that ip auto got there and worked before
It got there probably from your Internet connection.

You want me to explain how to use your Windows Operating System?

Not gonna happen!!!

Maybe a little education is best here for you- the help function of Windows may even help. You can try googleing for 'network faq'. Try searching for ANYTHING on networking on Google. It searches over 8 billion websites, so you're bound to come up with something.

Just asking is pretty lame - it's also not gonna get you an answer. Being a noob is not an accepted excuse - we were all noobs once and I've never asked a noob question.

I will say this one more time:

YOU HAVE TO CONFIGURE YOUR ETHERNET CARD TO-

IP 192.168.0.1
SUBNET 255.255.255.0

You said you figured this out? Looking at your ipconfig, you haven't

Don't bother posting back until you get your ipconfig to read:

Because your network card is used to connect to your internet!!!!

You'll need to disconnect it, set the IP address / subnet as shown, connect to the Xbox to gain FTP access.

Once you're done, you can set the Network card back to DHCP and get back to your internet connection.

If you want to do both at the same time, you'll need another network card.

Re: Looking to add a 250 GIG Hardrive to my 360. Need Help!

As long as the 250gig is a bev. Also, if you have the flash file from a retail xbox 360 250gig then all you need to do is flash the file with hddhackr then use xplorer360 to transfer everything from the 20 to the 250. Lastly, get yourself a socket torx screwdriver with different sizes and you can open the hdd enclosure.
