I was able to FTP to the X3 just fine and was able to copy over the evox.ini, evoxdash.xbe, and the skins and trainers files with no problem and booted right into the evox dash no prob. Now the problem: I can't FTP into the Evox dash and I set all the settings EXACTLY the same as in the X3 setting and yes I'm using the new login and password here is the list that FlashFXP is giving:

I think it thinks you want to connect through the port 6660, you need 21

"[R] PORT 192,168,0,3,4,26
[R] 425 Can't open data connection to 192.168.0.3:6660 "

I don't suppose you're using the same log in are you (user name, psswrd both x3)

if so you might try the log in that evolution x SAYS to use. RTFM :? but for those who can't the login is usr: xbox psswrd: xbox

LiteOn 93450c trace cut issue

I performed the trace cuts and not the drive will not power on, not detected my JF. Can anyone else me out with how to repair it. I added color to the cuts. It looks like I used a soldering iron and burned the PCB but I didnt, it is just black to show cuts.

Re: LiteOn 93450c trace cut issue

the drive isn't going to show up in jungleflasher until you use the probe to power the flash chip separately

the trace cuts effectively kill the drive, and need an alternate power source and ground in order to extract the key

try reading the jungleflasher tutorial

Re: LiteOn 93450c trace cut issue

i can't tell if you made a mistake with the top (ground) cut

it sort of looks like you severed the connection between the traces that run above the ground point

those need to be intact, but separate from the ground point

Re: LiteOn 93450c trace cut issue

you will need to repair that top line trace

you are trying to extract the key, right?

then follow the jungleflasher tutorial

Re: LiteOn 93450c trace cut issue

a little bit of solder

you'll need to repair the traces when all is done anyway

might as well get acquainted with an iron

Re: LiteOn 93450c trace cut issue

I dont know of any guides as such to fix a trace on a 360 drive, but there are plenty of solering guides on youtube. You just need to bridge the trace on the top, with a small piece of wire. its pretty simple if you take your time. Then you will be able to find your drive in JF.

Re: LiteOn 93450c trace cut issue

Youre doing the 2 cut method. You cut the top trace where you were isolating the pad. Take a wire no matter what length and solder it like this:
