First did you connect the controller ports back into the mobo? (sorry had to ask)
Second are you using the stock m$ controller?
Third are you using the D pad to move?

you probably forgot to plug the controller wire... It happened to me once.
Open the box and check your connections.

Some other things that has happened to some ppl.

Do you have a memory card in the controller?
Do you have the dvd dongle in one of the ports?
And last, do you have more than one controller hooked up.

If you can answer yes to any other the above, remove the memory card, remove the dvd dongle and hook only one controller up.

I seriously think the vast majority of these controller problems are people using the sticks instead of the D-pad

Great Stuff, was a memory card in the controller, onto the next stage now.....just downloaded a bios file to try... prob here from me again soon... :S
