in the latest x2 bios there is a small app for partition stuff. lba48.exe

readme.

lba48 partition modes:

0 = standard partitions
1 = F: gets all (Default)
2 = F: up to 137gb, G: gets rest
3 = F: up to 137gb, no G:

this value is now taken from patched byte at offset 0x1b04

we have packed a lame tool to patch auto for you if you have
no clue how to use winhex (seriousley though LEARN ok !)

This tool took about 15 minutes to make so dont bitch about it hehe
A much much nice one is being made for a few other things as we
speak ;)

Matt

so looking at that you will need option 2

double click on lba48.exe, click file then open, select your bios file, select which partition stuff you want, F: up to 137GB, G: gets rest, click file, then save and select the bios file again, that file should now be patched with the lba48 info.

which bios do i open ?
the bios before i run it through xbiosmanager v2.3 or the 1mb bios when its been put through xbiosmanager ?

which is the best bios to use the m8 plus or m6plus 16, or the 5030 bios ( tried that and 1 chip is dead till i get a programmer ithink)

do it before you increase the bios size. but why would you want to?

the xecuter written patcher will only work with executer bios's so dont use it with an evox bios

there's a readme that comes with the bios that you should check out

i would certainly go with the X2 bios over the Evox as the X2 is more stable and reliable
