Game errors

Ive recently burned two games, Fifa 06 and Saints Row.

On the Fifa 06, sometimes I will get a white screen with writting in every language saying something among the lines of please insert into an xbox 360 and other times it will laod up perfectly..

On the Saints Row, sometimes I get the Unreadable Disk error and sometimes again, it will load up perfectly.

Is this a problem with my firmware on my dvd burner? My media or something else? Ive tried copied games someone else has and they work perfectly.

Im using Titanium DVD+R DL Disk on a nec nd-2510a burner.

My xbox is also flashed with the: Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Rev2

I'm not sure with Hitachi's but what speed have you got the 360 reading the disks at? 4x or 12x?

Hoiw can I tell? hooking up to my pc? I burn at 2.4x so this wouldnt make a difference would it?

I can't find anything that specifies reading speeds after flashing a Hitachi. When you apply one of these firmware versions (5.2a, 5.2b, 5.2c, or 2d) to a Samsung, you will know what speed your backups will spin up at in your XBOX 360. Page 15 of TEXTBOOKs pdf on flashing Samsungs or Hitachi's explains the effect of flashing with these different versions of the firmware.

Usually when I get the error with writings in several languages and telling me to insert the disc into an XBOX 360 it means a bad burn. One time I forgot to specify the correct layer break. How did you back up your original game? If you did the disc swapping method, then you needed to inject the SS.bin and then burn specifying the correct layer break point. DVDDecrypter allows you to specify the exact layer break needed for XBOX 360 backups if you only created an ISO or other image.

I downloaded the games I have off the internet due to not been able to rip them onto my pc.

ive tried the saints row in a hitachi v78 I flashed and it boots up great everytime. This is now becoming a blister to me and I'm thinking that it might be the flash that hasnt worked even though I've tried games someone else has copied to test it..
