Game hack question

Is there a way to run a game on my X3 modded xbox straight off the hard drive? If so, how?

Install a dashboard.

Either FTP the game to the hdd or use a program like dvd2xbox to rip it to the hard drive.

Boot to your dashboard and use the file browser to find the game you ripped. Run the default.xbe and there ya go.

yeah. that's almost the whole reason for modding, and why we put larger Hard Drives in these things.

You'll find lots of interesting stuff there, and their forums might be a better place to ask specifics on different dashboards, etc.

There are other programs, but dvd2xbox is about the best.
