Game wont play off HD

Have 1.0 box, X3 chip, maxtor 120gig hd
Copied conflict desert storm to HD with px hdd 12 and with dvd2boxv0.59
GAME PLAYS FINE FROM CDROM get the dirty or damaged message when I try to play from HD from both copies on HD
I then copied to HD using a BRAND NEW cdrom from a new 1.6 xbox
same thing the game will not play from hard drive
Has anyone got any Ideas?

Maybe it is a bad sector on the hard drive. Thats not really repairable, keep trying but if all else fails get a new one. Sorry .

There are some games out that need a "hdd fix". I know Leisure Suit Larry is one of them. Maybe the game you are trying to play needs that. You can google it, or look on a P2P for it. Good luck.

i think there is a media check or something, try to get the last version of dvd2xbox and an ACL file for your game if you can ...
