So when I took my jtag over to my friends house,we played some fallout nv for about an hour and 30 min,then ,I finally got my copy of black ops to backup and so I used wx360 to make a folder of all the files,then we started to play the moon level in black ops zombies,it played good for a while,then it froze,restarted it booted it from fsd,worked a few more times then froze ,restarted,play different map,now keeps freezing everytime,please help

what freeboot version are you using, how did you build it and what version of dashlaunch is installed?
The freeboot version is the one for the 13599 kernel,(srry didn't jtag it so don't know exact fb version,but it is the newest,dashlaunch is the latest version 2.3.3b I think that is the latest,I got it not that long ago so I'm 100% shure it's the newest
I also run it through the filebrowser in fsd,idk if that makes a difference,I started the game with xexmenu once but didn't play it,later I'll try it with xexmenu later to see if that makes a difference

I think bandit is right. That sounds like the red rings on it's way. Replacing the thermal paste will only get you so far. Also do the xclamp fix as well. These are effective fixes that you cab do at home but still temporary. If you really want this problem to go away you should have it professionally reballed/reflowed.
Can anyone fix it so it lasts really long,I live in Edmonton Alberta ,could someone do it if u live really close,I don't want to pay that much for shipping
Ohh I just rembred,it runs not that hot,I took the DVD drive out so before with the drive in it ran at 69degrees celceuicus,it's not that hot today I stuck my hand in and the gpu felt warm not really hot

69c(150f) is pretty warm considering that is what is processing your graphics. That isn't hot enough for it to red ring yet but definately hot enough to cause it to start freezing and eventually it will red ring. Try the source suggested, it is really worth it.
