i have a falcon with rgh and and lt3 firmware.
after some searching on here i have installed xex and free style dash.

i've have the following questions with regards to putting my games on the harddrive.

i've installed some games on the offical harddrive then used nxetogod to complete the install so as i dont have to use the discs.

my first question is, how do i get them to show on free style dash menu as at the moment they only show in nxe dash.
i've tryed to add the paths in the settings section but i dont yet quite understand the xbox file system.

Hdd1:\Content\0000000000000000\
Usb0:\Games\

after i istalled some games on the xbox drive i decided to add an external hard drive were i used xex menu to install a game to this.
this game shows in the free style dash but not nxe, also its a 2 disc game but i have only installed 1 disc at the moment.how do i add disc 2?

need to change your scan depth , i have mine set at 10 in nxe settings

you'll find that games on a external drive wont show up in nxe as they must be in \content\0000000000000000 folder ( not normally on a external hdd) as it would need to be formatted by the console which being usb would only give you 16gb to store in

Do a clear data on FSD, then start again.

For officially installed games and once NXE2GoD is run, the path is hdd1:\Content\0000000000000000\ with a scan depth of 2.

They should then appear. Make sure they're playable without disc from NXE dash first though.

there playing on nxe, cleared data and changed paths back with scan depth of 2, still nothing...would a pic of my file system help to sort it?

That's not a default skin, so might be adding to the problem.

Have you set back to the default skin etc ? Your paths look ok. Do NOT change your scan path to 10 as you could cause problems. Scan path of 2 for Content\0000000000000000\ is enough.

Could be. What version are you on. Mine works perfect on 2.0

If your folders are names with the games folder and then the game number and then the .data file. Your scan depth should be 3 or 4

I have found that scan depth of 10 on some machines bypasses the needed file.

Try 3 or 4 scan depth if not go back to fsd 2.0 on a fresh install.
