Games without disc straight away after RGH nand write?

Hi Everyone! As I couldn't find clear answer to my issues over internet and on different forums (google search mostly) I have decided to post my 1st noobie question.

My Xbox 360 is Proto V2/Demon RGH. My first dash version was 16547 and so it was on RGH side (RGH2 selection in JRunner). The only thing I installed was 1.1 and 1.2 XEXMenu and the only thing I did with that was change a skin and possibly change 1-2 setting on the same screen (0 to 1 or 1 to 0 the back to default). The thing is - I'm able to run all my retail games installed on internal drive without disc... (genuine games after "Install to HD" option) I haven't set up anything nor installed anything else. Is there a chance that Xex Menu installed patches on it's own? I have deleted XeX menu and still can use direct launch.
The image I use is 16547 (my 1st nand dump) and 16547 selection on RGH2 (in JRunner) without any other options changed.
The thing is when I updated retail side to 16747 and done full retail nand dump/rgh2 - then updated RGH side with JRunner version 16747 (RGH2) - it asks for CD now.
Can anyone tell me how is that possible? Is there any option that might be ticked in JRunner release on XeX Build/Dash Launch side? I tried to re-run XEX Menu the same way I did on 1st time but it still asks for CD. When I go back to my 16547 image using 16547 dash on JR - it unlocked all games again. When I updated 16547 with 16747 JR dash (using new LDV) - it's locked. So it looks like it's JR dash dependant. No settings have been changed - straight forward version pick, RGH2, create image - write to nand...
Anyone knows if it was XEX Menu or how to have it back in new 16747? If it's enabled that way - can I install game straight from backups? Everywhere I checked - the only way to run game without disk was to patch the files with XEX Menu/quick boot/freeboot and other homebrew. Just want to be sure that also when playing that way with Live profile I won't corrupt any data. For now I just downloading my profile back every time I go Online... Just don't know if it's not homebrew XEX Menu modded game launch? and if not - can I still use old dash to get achievements?
Feels odd as I haven't find anything about running games that way... no idea what locks/unlocks them in my situation...

Just spot new Dashlaunch 3.12 details that mention 2 things that might be in connection to the issues...

"To Do
- fix hud loading of nxe rips
- everything else

Known Bugs

- nxe disk rips when launched from 16197+ metro still work, if you get an err
dismiss it and launch again (it's a resource busy issue in official dash)"

Just a guess that it might be in relation (still learning noob I am...). Need confirming that it's there where it comes from...

It shouldnt ask for the disk. I should also ask why you arent using FSD, as XEXmenu doesnt have as many features, such as TU downloading, and LiNK. you may try enableing contpatch in Launch.ini. Also make sure the latest dashlaunch patches are included in the image you created as I dont think J-Runner enables them by default anymore.

I don't use FSD/XEX menu as for yet as I need to fully understand processes and safety rules that I need to follow not to get banned. I want to use my XB Live profile to update achievements online from RGH.
I don't really play online but I have X360Key waiting for dummy.bin extraction to have that possibility - or to use my Xbox as usually with backups out of the disc. Problem is - I thought I can do that with RGH but now it seems that fcrt extraction can't be used with my Lite on 16D4S and I was too stubborn to buy V1 of X360USB Pro - still waiting for V2 to be re-released that last time Tried to find a service down in Southend but 3 Xbox service points had no clue what I'm talking about I know that I can go V1/gecko/lizard but pref to wait this 2 weeks to have peoples favourite solution or be lucky enough to find someone finally.
Another reason is - I wait for my new laptop in which I swap HD for SSD and I want use this 1TB drive for my safe RGH side for emulators etc.
And after all - I don't want to go next step before I fully understand what's going on. Just want to have a notion what I'm doing and how to stay safe with using my Live account on RGH side.
Guess I can still use old dash to save my achievements or the new one when I manage to upgrade it to run installed games? Would like to use FTP for game transfer but my laptop is 2 weeks late already... and I'm using my gf laptop:/ and it's not going thru router Xbox IP- guess it needs a LAN and 1st two Local IP addresses to be used to link... - still don't want to go too far as I already have enough questions to ask
Thank You for hint on my problem - next step - understanding Dashlaunch patches Have both Xe Build and dashlauch with newest version - will try to play with it and try contpatch time allowing... will give feedback if succeed.

First off u can get the FCRT and Dvd key from the nand image, if you have the CPU Key for your console. As for the live profile, just make sure to create an offline profile, that auto logs in, then switch profiles after starting the game. Do not forget to sign out before going back to FSD. As for not getting banned, there are a few options for this, The best is to use a donor Key Vault in your RGH nand. I personally use the live block option in dashlaunch and also use the family settings option to disable live, and u should be good. There have been some issues with consoles reaching out to live if you use fake live which is required for Indie games, so if using that feature, make sure to unplug the internet from the console.

This is my launch.ini NandSwitcher.xex is for the demon, and XellLaunch.xex launches xell, so I dont have to shut down, and hit eject to play N64 games. Fakeanim.xex is for custom boot animations, it does make it seem like you console is taking longer to glitch, as it cant play the custom animation until the GPU has finished its init cycle.

I would use this as a starting point for a Launch.ini, as these are the settings I use with my customers. the ones without the demon do not get nandswitcher.xex option, and some request XEXMenu Quick launch. I dont use XEXMenu, I have it on my box, but prefer FSD, as I like to play black ops on LiNK, and it includes a TU downloader.

Thank you for quick and clear answer I can confirm that when I used custom setting - all is up and running - no need for disc as before
Basic safety steps of course have been taken before running anything on RGH (Family Control block/Live servers lock - according to a freshmen tutorial
Do you know if I can use my Live profile to run legally installed games from menu now (offline - achievements copied to profile - then retail side to login to Live?)
That's what I'm scared of - to login and use something that leaves trace - or when tired gaming deep in the night - forget to logout when I'm tired. Seems it all needs to be set up properly and it does most of the things for you Just need to learn if you have all you need. Anyway - I want to isolate my RGH profile in the future and use separate HD for homebrew things - and use X360Key/running game without need of watching where I click on RGH side - if it's possible to play that way without leaving a trace Maybe if I learn more in practice - then I won't have to be so careful - but for now - I want to play my online profile leaving more homebrew for later on safe dummy profile.

As for my key retrieval - I already extracted that with XE Build GUI (at least it said it's been found and saved- don't know where though - but I stopped chasing the subject as they say I has no use in LiteOn 16d4s 9504 as you need your full dummy.bin dump. Already tried with the files in JFlasher but I guess firmware images there are even less than a donor one - and it spoof new image with all FFFF in key spot. So I just pre-ordered my USB Pro V2 from Brisbane ;-)

PS. Funny thing it glitched on 1st pulse 95% of time but now without front panel (for flex safety) - it takes 2, sometimes 3 times small difference in config and huge impact on Proto V2
One more time - thank You for guiding me - will read about TU downloading next...

The Live profile will be safe as long as you dont use it with any homebrew app(FSD, Emulators, Homebrew games). Just make sure to log in/out of your profile in game, or it is detectable, and your profile could and probably will get banned.
