Games won't boot!!!

Have had a new Xbox mod chip installed and the DVD won't read the disks.
Have tried with the chipset enabled and disabled, also with original games and backup games, but no luck.
The chipset in an Xecuter 2.6, the bios boots to the Xbox dash with the emblem in the top left corner.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure your drive is plugged in? If it won't read the originals, the drive is either not plugged in, or it is bad.

As a side note, the bios you have is old. I would suggest getting 5032, but be sure you use the one that works for your version Xbox.
