LITEON DG-16D2S general question before flashing

heyy guys

i finally got my ck3 probe and a ck3i... and i will be flashing my xbox which is on dash 13599 and having lt+1.91

i just want to ask few question....

using my mobo for sata connection will do any harm ?

should i directly update it to 2.0 without the dash update? and if i do so will i be able to play games like cod mw3,BF3, GOW 3 ???

Please give me some guidelines as how should i proceed as with the latest dash we cant go online rite ?
any sort of help will be highly appreciated

download the dash update from the microsoft website and install through usb, you need to use 2.0 to play the newer games.

i have herd that the latest dash has an silent dae.bin update which prevents playing back ups online....so my question is ....is it necessary to update to the latest dash ?

can i just flash it to 2.0 n play all these games without the new dash ?

wait till lt3.0 is released (later today/tomorrow), will be sometime very soon , will solve all your problems( most anyway)
will need to reburn any ap2,5 games though (xgd3 included )

okk guys 3.0 is out... i have got my via 6421 , ck3i, probe and i am all set to go...

i am having few questions

1) should i install the drivers of the sata card so that my pc will detect it....?

2) my drive is a lieon 7 series with 1.91 and the dash is 13599 which firmware should i use coz there is a lott of .bin files in c4eva firmware folder
i want to flash it to 3.0
please help guys

if your dash is 13599 your liteon is now a 02510C no longer 7 series
you should be able to work out which files to use now...there is only 1 stock 02510 and only one LT3.0 0251

heyy guys i am trying to install the drivers of my via 6421a sata card but it is giving an error like "sorry the install wizard cannot find the supported hardware in your system. you should check your hardware and try again"

however it is getting detected by the os when i start the computer... is it necessary to install the drivers as JF tutorial says that we must remove the driver ...
please help guys
