General question on Xecuter 3 and v1.6 xbox

Hey guys, I am about to purchase a 120 gig HD and a xecuter 3 modchip for my v1.6 xbox, but I have a couple of questions

A) When I install the products, which BIOS do I run off of, xbox BIOS or modchip BIOS
B) Is the new switch and LCD worth it to buy?
C) when I recieve the products do I have to install a BIOS on the modchip or harddrive? Like do I have to install a hakced BIOS onto anything?
D) The xapter wont work with v1.6 rite?

and finally

E) Are there any products I should look into other than 120 gig HD, xecuter 3 modchip, new switch and LCD ?

You should trun the latest X3 bios for the 1.6

Id wait out for the X3 Control Panel

You will need to get the bios off xbins and flash it on the chip.

It will work but its pointless cos u gotta solder anyway.

I wouldnt say so just yet. Maybe in the future.

External Harddrive

greetings all :lol:

i have a odd question, i have a 160 gig external usb hard drive, i used to copy movies onto it, and watch it on my xbox (and yes the drive is still FAT32), but all of a sudden the xbox wont see it, :(

was there a update or something that made it stop working?

the xbox doesn't even see the drive, i can try re-format it as fat32 if it will help

Mine started doing this after the update to use USB as storage for games, just go to the video library unplug the device and plug it back in.
