Now that all Dg16d2s are 02510C after the update
but what if i still have an old Modded one like (74850) LT1.1 i think, can i just update it via a flash and then it is considered a 02510C or i must first turn it to stock then update then it is 02510C thanks

always revert to stock before update

You have to revert to stock or you could get stuck in an update loop.

Revert to stock, update your console then reflash.
