I'm looking at modding my console, I just have a couple questions as I have researched. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Preliminary Information:
360 Model: Phat Jasper Xbox 360, no BB revisions.
Dashboard: 2.0.16747.0
What I want to accomplish is a dual-nand setup. According to the guides I have been reading this is possible for my 360, using an R-JTAG. The product that was recommended from the guide I was reading which is external from this site recommended the http://www.modsupplier.com/catalog/xecuter-demon-phat-p-997.html
My first question is regarding that card. I have done my google searches, and forum searches on this site and couldn't find an answer.
1. Is this the only chip that can have a dual-nand setup for my 360 setup? I'm confused about the other revisions of this card if that's what you call them, like the Coolrunner, etc, do they support dual-nand? Does the new chip you guys announced support dual nand? 2. With this chip can I run my own unsigned code in Xecuter Fusion, and run my backup games? I was confused about other 360 chips I was seeing that had a tri-nand setup for retail, backups, and development. Can the Xecuter Fusion do both backups and development? According to my research a tri-nand setup for a phat 360 like mine is not possible, but only possible for Slims? Is that correct? If not is there an Xecuter chip that supports tri-nand?
3. I'm almost ready to buy all the things I need to mod my 360, in the rules it says don't post other products besides Xecuter, does this include non modding chip related products like soldering kits on amazon and such?
I did read the rules and hopefully understood them, I hope my post doesn't violate any of them.
