Get banned?????

Hi all. Will I get banned if I log on to my xbox360 account to download netflix?
Console is RGH2 with a CR4 on dash 16747

yes most probably you will as connected to live is not recommended with rgh

Sure, but I don't think you can connect to netflix on an rgh xbox. It requires live, which will ban you

Thats a bummer. What about putting a switch to interupt the live feed for the CR4? will the console work as unmodded or will live detect the change in the nand?
Modded box is going to caravan when season starts (no need to keep taking the disc's and forgetting to bring them back)

fit a demon dual nand, that's what u need. Switch between stock and hacked dash with press of a button.

afaik anything past 16747 added support for things like this without live,im pretty sure works same on rgh/jtag,someone correct me if im wrong? hulu and netflix and other apps didnt require live acct anymore.

Trying to keep it kid's and Mrs prof. A switch that I can control would be safer than kids and Mrs trying deside if demon is on or off (whilst at the van I leve them all indoors and go to the pub)

I believe u didn't need gold account any more for these apps. U cud use sliver account or whatever its called now. I would think u still need to connect to live.

I have unpaid account that works with netflix. Will try and see if I can use netflix witout loging on

That is how I understood to be however I have gold so....I'm not 100% but I think some form of a live connection is required.

disabling the glitch chip won't return it to stock. U need to understand how rgh works. Adding a Demon dual nand like I said is the only way to go.

Disabling the chip won't remove the custom firmware that's been written to your NAND. If you were to add a switch the console wouldn't boot at all.

this question as been asked before , you need to understand how rgh/jtag works as geekheat said , you cant just turn the chip off , if you could it wouldn't put the xbox back to normal

Ok guys, Demon fitted.
If I boot to retail and log onto XBL will they be able to detect all the backup games, FSD and all that other stuff? or do I need a second HDD?

Nobody can answer that except for MS. I would think most folks here would tell you to use an external for all non retail stuff. That said, I know some people store stuff on their internal and have not been banned. If you're looking to minimize your risk then just format an external fat32 and store all your sh*t there.

I guess SSD would be fine for external?
